Flowmind for coding agents
A work log for Codex and Claude Code
Connect your agent once. Hooks record how long it works. When it finishes a piece of work, it stages the session with a one-line outcome and a link, and nothing enters your record until you approve it.
Install the CLI and the hooks
Run three commands in your terminal.
npm install -g @flowmind/cliinstalls the Flowmind CLI.flowmind auth loginsigns you in through your browser.flowmind hooks installadds the Flowmind skill and session hooks to Codex and Claude Code.

flowmind hooks installAsk your agent to “set up Flowmind”
The Flowmind skill gives your agent a short setup routine. It creates nothing until you approve.
- 01
It finds your repositories
Your agent looks for git repositories in the folders you work in. It also reads your existing Flowmind projects.
- 02
It proposes a list
For each repository, it suggests a project name and a one-line description. It also says whether to create a project, link an existing one, or skip it.
- 03
You approve, then it links
Edit the list or approve it. Only then does your agent create the projects and link each repository.
A link is a .flowmind.json file at the root of the repository. Commit it to share the link with your other machines and agents.
Hooks record agent turn time
The session hooks record how long each agent turn runs. Idle time between turns does not count. In a linked repository, the hooks also tell your agent which project it works on.
Codex runs new hooks only after you trust them once in /hooks. Claude Code runs them from its next session.
Working with AI agents
Your agent proposes. You approve.
When an agent does the work with you, it can stage the session: project, time, outcome, and link. The proposal waits for your review. Nothing enters your record until you approve it, and you can reject anything that isn't right.

Agent time stays separate
Approved agent time is shown separately from your own hours. It does not count toward your personal hours or your streaks.
OpenClaw uses the skill without hooks
Import the Flowmind skill into OpenClaw manually or from ClawHub. Without hooks, your agent stages each session with the start time and minutes it observed.
Start with one linked repository.
Install the CLI, ask your agent to set up Flowmind, and approve its first session.
