Draft for operator and legal review — last updated 2026-10-06
Terms of Service
1. Who provides Flowmind
Flowmind is provided by Abdullah Faruk Gonullu (the operator). The Impressum lists the operator's address and contact details. By creating an account or using Flowmind you agree to these terms.
2. The service
Flowmind is a proof-of-effort hour ledger. You log time against projects and routines, attach an intention, an outcome and optionally an artifact link, and follow streaks, levels and badges. Optional features include voice capture, AI-assisted drafting of entries and reflections, circles, public profiles, a command-line client and scoped API keys for your own automation, and paid plans when they are offered. Features may change as the product develops.
3. Accounts
- You sign in with an email and password, or with Google or GitHub where offered. Give accurate information and keep your credentials and API keys secret.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys. Tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian where the law of your country requires it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- log time or outcomes you know to be false and present them publicly as real proof;
- upload or link unlawful content, or content that infringes the rights of others;
- harass other people through comments, reactions, circles or invitations;
- probe, overload or bypass the security, rate limits or quotas of the service, or use API keys beyond their scope;
- use voice capture or AI features to process other people's personal data without a lawful basis.
5. Your content and visibility
You keep ownership of what you enter: projects, routines, time entries, notes, artifact links, voice recordings and profile text. You give the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide licence, for as long as you keep the content on Flowmind, to store, process and display it as needed to run the service for you.
You control visibility. If you make your profile public, you also license the operator to show the parts you have chosen to publish (for example username, display name, bio, totals, streaks, badges, top projects and launched projects) to anyone with the link, including in share cards and previews. You can change your visibility in Settings at any time; the change applies to Flowmind pages going forward, but copies that others have already made, such as screenshots or search-engine caches, are outside our control.
6. AI features are assistive
AI features turn your notes and voice recordings into drafts and suggestions. They can be wrong or incomplete. Nothing is saved to your ledger until you review and confirm it, and you remain responsible for what you confirm. Do not rely on AI output for legal, financial, medical or other high-stakes decisions.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Flowmind available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance, change or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect paying users.
8. Paid plans
Where paid plans are offered, payment is handled by Stripe. Price, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms are shown before you subscribe. Statutory rights, including any right of withdrawal for consumers, are unaffected.
9. Liability
The operator is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence the operator is liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance possible and on which you may regularly rely), and then only for the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Further liability is excluded to the extent German law permits. Statutory rights that cannot be limited remain unaffected.
10. Termination
You can stop using Flowmind at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). The operator may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, after a warning where reasonable, and may end the service with reasonable notice. Provisions that by their nature continue, such as liability, remain in effect.
11. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when features or the law change. The date at the top shows the current version. We will tell registered users about material changes before they take effect.
